What is the blanket filled with?

10 ounces of 100% duck down feathers. Duck down is less dense than goose down which allows the blankets to be washed and dried quickly (sometimes a few times a day thanks to spitup) but with the same level of insulation and quality as goose down.

When will I get my blanket?

We try to get blankets out as quickly as they are ordered. Sometimes we have a bit of a backlog and poor Bobo is working day and night to handmake each one. If you need your blanket by a certain date, just email hyggebabyblankets.com with your order number and we will expedite!

Do you use any fire retardant chemicals on your blanket?

No - we don't spray our blankets with anything. Our fabric provider, Spoonflower also does not.

What is your return policy?

We have a 30-day return policy on orders (unless embroidered). You can exchange for another pattern or return for full price. Just get in touch with Team Hygge and we will send you a prepaid shipping label for either FedEx/UPS or USPS (your choice!).

How do I wash a Hygge Baby Blanket?

Normally!! Hot or cold. With colors or alone. Just don't bleach!

How do I DRY a Hygge Baby Blanket?

Dry it until you can't dry it anymore. The down feathers compress in water so drying will bring the product back to its normal shape and fill. We usually do a timed 1 hour and then a little extra - 40 minutes or so.

What is the size?

Every blanket is 36 x 28.

Will it get softer?

Yuuuup. That's the best part - the shell surrounding the down (100% cotton) and the fleece outer will start to soften with time. It makes for the most luxurious sleep for baby (or a very, very, very. tired mom).

Can I embroider?

Absolutely- names, dates, zodiac signs - we won't put a cap on your imagination.

Can my 0-month to 12-month-old sleep with your blanket?

NOPE. The AAP strongly advises against babies under 12 months sleeping with blankets in their cribs. They can lounge around all day long on their Hygge baby blanket but always keep a watchful eye.

How the f*** do you pronounce your name?
